Shipping & Returns
We ship all our national and international orders via the Deutsche Post (German postal service). The parcels via the Deutsche Post are always shipped with priority and usually arrive within a week even in countries like Australia or Japan. What eventually takes more time is when they get stuck in customs. Neither we nor the post office will have any influence on that then unfortunately. You will receive a tracking number as soon as the parcel has been shipped, which you can look up at https://www.deutschepost.de
COSTS AND DURATION
Deutsche Post Standard shipping - 1 to 2 days - 4,75 Euro
Standard shipping EU: 3 to 10 days - 7 Euro
Standard shipping rest of the world: up to 4 weeks - 7 Euro
The customer is responsible for the payment of customs taxes and the amount is calculated according to the law applicable in the country where goods are sent.
We don’t know the amount of customs taxes that will be communicated to you by the carrier after the goods have reached their destination.
In the event that the taxes are not paid and the shipment is refused or abandoned as a result, the shipment expenses and the customs taxes will be deduced from the total amount of the order and only the difference will be reimbursed.
To make your dachshund's outstanding outdoor coats last and look good for a long time it's important to take good care of it. Here are some tips on how to care for your products so that they can stay with you for a long time.
Wool is naturally soil-repellent and in many cases does not need to be washed nearly as often as you might think. You can use the garment quite some time before it needs to be washed; just air out the garment and let it rest for a time between uses. It gives the wool fibers time to recover their natural strength and elasticity.
Only wash the coats at 30° celsius in the washing machine. Do not use fabric softener. Always close velcro straps before washing. It is preferable to dry garments in a drying cabinet as tumble dryers may cause greater wear.
Returns & Exchanges
If you are not happy with your Dachshund Couture purchase, please return the goods to us in the original condition including a copy of the original delivery note and a message stating you wish to make the return for a refund.
In the case of an exchange of item (e.g for a different size), include the returned item, a copy of the original delivery note and a message stating which item you wish to exchange for.
All goods must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery, to receive an exchange or refund (less postage and packaging).
For all returns you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the goods to us by registered post or special delivery. When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. Proof of posting will assist you in tracking any shipment which is reported as lost, damaged, mislaid or otherwise undelivered.
PLEASE NOTE MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED UNLESS FAULTY
Any goods returned incomplete will not be replaced or refunded.
Please note that refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.
All goods are checked thoroughly before leaving for their destination.
On the rare occasion that you may receive goods that are faulty or not what you ordered, please contact us within 28 days of delivery and we will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
Damage & Loss in transit
Dachshund Couture does not accept liability for any delays or damages once the goods have left us and are in possession of the carriers.
Goods should be inspected on receipt of delivery, and damages to be advised in writing within 3 working days of delivery, so that we can arrange replacement goods and start following up with our carrier.
If you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that an insurance claim can be made against the carrier.
Dachshund Couture reserves the right to alter prices at any time, without prior notice.
Orders & Payment
Dachshund Couture use Stripe payments system and Paypal, a secure online payment method allowing you to pay with your Paypal account or a debit or credit card (without registering for a Paypal account). Once payment has been authorized, Dachshund Couture will send you an email confirming your order.
You will be notified within 1-2 working days, if any goods ordered are out of stock.
In the event the customer cannot pay via Paypal or Credit Card, Dachshund Couture can also accept Bank Transfers as an alternative payment method, please get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org.
All orders are subject to acceptance and to availability of the goods ordered.
Each and every transaction carried out is deemed to be completed within Germany and therefore shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with German Law.
Risk & Retention of title
Under normal circumstances, goods must be paid for prior to dispatch and the risk of loss, breakage and damage and all other risks shall pass to the customer when the goods have been dispatched.
Goods shall remain the property of Dachshund Couture until payment in full has been received and cleared. In the event of any default in payment the company reserves the right to reclaim the goods concerned.
We take all reasonable precautions to keep information supplied to us by customers strictly confidential. We do not supply our 'mailing information' to third parties but do use it to advise our clients of goods and services we feel may be of interest to them, unless expressly instructed otherwise.
Information supplied to us may be stored on a computer system, but will not be supplied to any outside agency.
You may not reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, sell, or exploit in anyway, in whole or in part, any contents of the website, or any related software, catalogue, advertising or images for any purpose without the prior permission of Dachshund Couture.
Products and colours on our website are a guide only. All images, specifications and descriptions are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods.
